Kristina Artis Holmes, 45 years old of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away at her home and became one of God's soldiers in heaven on September 22, 2020. Kristina was born on April 12, 1975, to the late Linda Gale Artis, and living William James Artis Sr. in Washington, D.C. Kristina graduated from high school with honors from John Motley Morehead High School in Eden, N.C. She went on to receive Bachelors of Science Degree in Zoology from North Carolina State University. She further received a Master's Degree of Science in Clinical Research Administration from George Washington University. Kristina resided in the state of Georgia where she pursued a career in her field. She was a working member of Boehringer-Ingelheim (formerly Merial Cooperation). While working there, she became Associate Director of Quality Assurance. Kristina was a force of nature that lived her life to the fullest during times of joy and the times of challenges. Kristina would always seek the best in herself, and encouraged her loved ones and friends to do the same. She was a loving, loyal daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Kristina is survived by her sister, Felicia Artis Goolsby, her brothers William J. Artis Jr. and A.J. Artis, her nieces Jasmine Goolsby and Brittany Artis, her nephews Justin Goolsby and Darian Artis. Kristina was also the loving owner of two English bulldogs the late Barkley Isaac Holmes and living Daphney Isabella Holmes. Kristina wished to be cremated and on her behalf, please make any memorial contributions to a pet rescue organization in her name and any condolences to this obituary or her Facebook page. A prayer quote, "May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rains fall soft upon your field.
