Linda & Paul Francis

Linda Carroll Francis passed away with her beloved husband Paul Bailey Francis on February 24, 2019 in their Atlanta, GA home. Linda was born on January 11, 1945 in Lakehurst, New Jersey. She graduated from Ramsey High School as well as earned a nursing degree from Emory University. As a small business owner, she operated a shop which focused on estate jewelry and antiques. She battled Lupus through the last half of her life with her devoted husband by her side. She leaves behind her daughter Debbie and son Bobby as well as her grandchildren Cassidy, Summer, Rob, Jeffrey, and Grace. Paul Bailey Francis was born on December 17, 1943 in LaFollette, TN. He attended LaFollette High School and earned a Medical Degree from the University of Tennessee after a tour in the Navy as Lieutenant Commander. He worked at the VA Hospital in Atlanta, GA as Chief of Staff of the Pulmonary Department and Dean Emeritus of Emory University until retirement. His passion was genealogy which he enjoyed through his final days. He leaves behind his two sons, Scott and Paul as well as his grandchildren Katie, Perry Addison, Skyler, Gareth, and Holden. They passed away together, which is fitting for two people who loved each other so deeply. They were always crazy in love. He called her Lucky, but they both were lucky to have the other by their side. Memorial services to be announced at a later date
