Lionel P Williams

Lionel P Williams died suddenly on November 9, 2023 on his property at his home near Waleska, Georgia. He was born on December 26, 1956 to Donald P and Bobby Junnel Peak Williams in Cullman, Alabama. Lionel and his two brothers grew up near Knoxville, Tennessee. Lionel graduated from high school there. He worked in construction with his father after moving to Georgia. Later he built hot rods in his garage as well as rebuilt auto parts for resale.

Lionel was a kind soul who didn't speak much unless the topic was his choice, namely sports. For years he was a caregiver for his Mom. Every dog he ever owned got his full attention and care.

Lionel is preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Perry Cray and Verlon Thomas "Tommy" Williams. Survivors include his sister-in-law, Kathy Williams; niece, Kaitlyn Marie "Katy" Williams; and nephew, Cray Williams, all of Waleska. His extended family resides everywhere, but mostly in Alabama. Lionel maintained friendships with people in Tennessee and Georgia to whom he will be missed.
