Lorraine Smith

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorraine Smith of Acworth, GA. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, on October 31, 1940. She passed away on February 23, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on the memorial page and share them with the family. She passed away peacefully at home with family by her side.

She was predeceased by her parents, Frank Edgar and Alice Edgar (Flubeker). Her husband Wallace Smith. Her daughter Elaine White. Her brothers, Robert Edgar, William Edgar, and Auther Edgar. Sisters, Shirley Knox and Joan Miller. Grandson, Christopher Wright.

She will be greatly missed. The world will be a little darker without her in it. She is survived by, daughter, Linda Wright and husband Rodney; sister, Joyce Knox and husband Donald; Step-daughter, Patricia Cyr; nephew, Frank Miller and many nieces and nephews; Grandchildren, Amy Howard, Matthew White, Tina Wright and husband Josh, Lisa Wright, Kaidyn Wright and Rodney Wright, Jr and wife Brandy; Great grandchildren; Kristen Stover, Katherine Howard, Kameron Howard, Caitlin Sever. Great great grandchildren; Nevaeh Stover, Nathaniel Stover, Madison White, Cash White, Colton Lynch and Joshua Brown.

A memorial service to honor the life of Lorraine Smith will be held at a later date.
