Lynda Marie Lyon

Lynda Marie Lyon, of Marietta Georgia, went to heaven peacefully at the age of 48 on August 9th, 2019 after her long battle with cancer. She was born August 29th, 1970 to Ora Lee and Wilma Lyon in Crawfordsville, Indiana. She was proceeded in death by her father Ora Lee Lyon and her niece Joy Lynn Davis. Lynda is survived by her husband Ronald Taite, her children Marcus J Lyon and Rebecca M Vandiegriff, step-children Jeremy, Rondale and Ryan. Her grandchildren Aniya, Grayson, and Lynkoln. Her mother Wilma Lyon. Her brothers and sisters and in-laws Laurie, Evelyn and Lance, David and Sherrie, Rowena and Gordon, Missy and Ron, Brenda, and Charlene. Many nieces and nephews. Lynda Lyon touched many lives in her days here on earth, there is no doubt that Lynda loved her children, grandchildren, and family with all of her soul. She was the true definition of a fighter, never giving up and always having faith that one day she would be healed. God had another plan for her. Lynda will be greatly missed by many and will always be in our hearts. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She is looking down on all of us, making sure we are protected and loved. Lynda's service will be held at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church located at 2385 Acworth Due West Rd. Acworth, GA 30101 on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at 2:00 pm. The reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
