Mandy Lynn Freeman, 58, a beloved mother, sister, partner, and friend, passed away peacefully at Navicent Medical Center in Macon, GA, on June 25, 2023. Born on March 21, 1965, in Atlanta, GA, Mandy was a beacon of kindness, adventure, and love throughout her 58 years of life.
Mandy lived in Moreland, GA with her long-time partner, Jeff Fernandes, who shared her love for the outdoors, and their beloved husky, Jaci.
Mandy was the cherished daughter of the late Tommy West and Gloria Kemp. She was the loving sister to Kelley West and Nikki Couch, who will remember her fondly for her adventurous spirit and unwavering kindness.
Mandy was a proud and loving mother to Andrea Hanson and James Freeman. Her love for her children was only surpassed by the joy she found in her grandchildren, Andrew, Kaydon, Michael, and Jamie Lynn. She held a special place in her heart for her late grandson, Zachary, whose memory she cherished deeply.
Mandy's love for nature was evident in her passion for hiking, camping, and exploring waterfalls. She had a deep appreciation for the beauty of the world around her and found peace in the tranquility of the outdoors. Her adventurous spirit was infectious, inspiring those around her to embrace the beauty of nature and the thrill of exploration.
Mandy will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her love for her family, and her kindness to all she met. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved and those who loved her. Her life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and adventure. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
