Mark Vincent Zangari

August 10, 1963 — July 27, 2024

Mark Vincent “Deedz” Zangari, 60, of Holly Springs, GA, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on August 10, 1963, in Irvington, New Jersey, Deedz was a very hard-working and diligent entrepreneur. From a young age, he was always finding new ways to “make a quick buck.” Deedz was great at bringing laughter and joy to his whole family, and there was never a dull moment with him around. He could always see the best in every situation. Deedz was widely known to be a great host and the life of every party, even when it wasn’t an event of his own. He would spend hours upon hours planning out meals and grocery lists so that everyone would be able to eat to their fullest – surprise guests included.

Deedz’s words of wisdom were treasured, and he always had advice for any type of problem. He was a man who knew what to say and when to say it. Deedz was very understanding of the struggles of others, and that shone through his charitable and honorable acts. He worked as Director of Operations of Sweetwater Mission, was named the 2014 West Cobb Citizen of the Year, and was recognized as an Honorary Commander by the Cobb Chamber of Commerce. Deedz was a well-rounded friend, father and husband.

Deedz is predeceased by his son, Gerard, and father, Anthony. He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Zangari. He was the devoted father of Alexander, Victoria and her husband, Michael, Claudia, Joseph, Sydney, Bryson, Ayden, and Rylan. He was proud Nonuccio a.k.a. “Nono” or “Grand Deedz” to granddaughter Maxine. He is survived also by his mother Marilyn and brothers Anthony and Christopher. He leaves behind many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly as well.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (Woodstock, GA) on July 31, 2024, at 10:30am.
