Mary Elizabeth (Pickering) Cook, 69 of Acworth, GA, ascended the stairway to heaven on March 08, 2020. She was born November 30, 1950, in Utica, New York, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Pickering & Audrey G. Pickering. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert W. Clemons, III. Mary grew up in Utica, NY where she received her nursing degree in 1990 from Mohawk Valley Community College. Mary set on a new adventure when she moved to GA in 1993. She had a special love for her animals especially her cats. They will miss her dearly. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother. She will be greatly missed. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 30 years Vincent Sean Cook, and Daughters, Colette & her husband Paul Mazzuca of Taylorsville, GA & Tanya Polite & her Fiancé Felix Reyes of Acworth, Ga. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; Grandson Michael & his wife Ashley Polite, of Dallas GA. Mary shared a very special connection with Michael, Grandson, Tuan Trieu of Acworth, GA, Grandson, Brandin Trieu of Acworth, GA & Grandson, Thommas Trieu of Acworth GA, Granddaughter, Monica Polite of Atlanta, GA, Granddaughter, Nikki Polite, of Taylorsville, GA, Granddaughter, Audreiana Maille of Cartersville, GA & Granddaughter, Elysa Trieu of Acworth, GA. And 4 great-granddaughters. The family will like to special thank you, Tranquility Hospice & Dr. Louis Garrot, and his office, for their care and service they provided for Mary. A Memorial service will be held at the family residence, on June 7th, 2020, 2:00 PM 167 Iron Hill Rd, Taylorsville, GA 30178.
