Michael “Mike” Perry Lee, 65, passed away Monday, August 22, 2022. He was surrounded by his loving family. Mike was born October 6, 1956 to the late Perry Alberta Lee and the late Marjorie Anne Hines Lee in Poplar Bluff, MO. Mike loved football, camping, fishing and singing. His favorite team was the Minnesota Vikings. Go Vikings! Mike also loved his fur babies, Spooky, Pippin, Smoke, and especially his service kitty, Patches. He will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved him. He moved to Montana as a young boy and went to school at Lockwood Schools and Billings Senior High School. He went in the Marine Corps and after his discharge, got his GED. Mike moved to Georgia in 1988. He became an industrial/commercial painter. He worked for his uncle for a time, and worked for Brantly Paige. He also worked at Specialty Finishes, where he retired in 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents, grand parents, his oldest son, Michael Allen Lee, his sister, Laura Louise Hopkins, his uncle Allen Lee, and many of his friends. Mike is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Robin Elaine Hahn Lee, his daughter, Roberta (Robert White) Lee and their two daughters, Elaine and Emma Lee and his three children, Austin, Alexis, and Aiden, his son Robert (Chistal) Lee and his two children, Brian and Brianna, with special mention and thank you to their mother Sharon Lee. All of Cartersville/Euharlee, GA area, his uncle Ted (Audrey) Hines and cousins Susan, Sherry, and mom, Kaye Reynolds of Cape Giraurdo, MO. Also, special mention of “Nother son” Kris Arneson of Ringgold, GA, “Nother daughter” Valerie Bishop of Atwater, CA. Niece and nephew Janeen Hopkins of Phoenix, AZ area and Jacob Martin of Cambridge, IL. Also a host of others called extended family that survive to cherish Mike’s memory. There will be a celebration of life at Euharlee Baptist Church, Euharlee, GA. Officiated by Pastor Roger Fisher and Pastor David Thornton. On October 8, 2022 at 2PM. Mike’s ashes will be released in the mountains of Montana where his son was released and always called home. A special thanks to Mike’s doctors and the nursing staff and caregivers of Cartersville Piedmont Hospital for their excellent care and Tapestry Hospice Janice for her comforting care for Mike’s passing on. Flowers are nice, but donations to American Diabetes Association, Pulmonary Fibroses Foundation, for research would be appreciated, with mention to Mike. www.leafcremation.com is where condolences may be left.
