Michael Reuben Connell, 61, exchanged his residency from 395 Tom Jones Rd. Kingston, Georgia on Sunday, March 28, 2021, to the corner of Pearly Gate and Golden Street New Jerusalem, Heaven. In Mike’s new heavenly home, he found his beautiful wife, Linda, mother, father, grandmother, and grandfather, all gathered around the crystal sea fishing. To his surprise, when he reached the shore, the angels looked at him, with a special gleam in their eyes, as he discovered a brand-new fishing rod made of silver and gold. Mr. Connell was born in Winter Haven, Fl on July 6, 1960, and was the son of the late James and Toy Connell. Mike grew up in central Florida and Alamo, Georgia. Mike trained and worked as a Heating and Air Technician. He relocated, with his wife Linda, to Glenwood, Georgia, and later moved to Kingston, Georgia. Mike and Linda were married for 26 years and had four children: Michael “Jayme” Connell (married to Amanda), Michael E. Harper (married to Carla), Rebecca L. Duquette, and Tracy Johnson. Mike enjoyed finding great deals and sharing his treasures with those in need. He loved family gatherings and especially spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his brothers James Edward “Eddie” Connell, Richard “Rick” Connell and sister-in-law Karen, Kenneth “Kenny” Connell, William “Bill” Connell, Steven “Steve” Connell, Uncle George Hartzog, and his beloved children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents James and Toy Connell, Aunt Arlene Connell, Aunt Linda Hartzog, sister-in-law Kit Garrett . Mike loved to fish, host fish fries and family reunions, spend time with his children and grandchildren, share the Gospel with others, and attend church. In the spirit of Mike’s love for family gatherings, he would like to invite each of you to know Jesus as your Lord and Savior and join him one day in Glory for the greatest family gathering of all. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to Mike’s medical expenses. Donations can be made to Michael “Jayme” Connell (michael.jc.connell@gmail.com)
