Michelle Anne Jeffrey, 38 years old of Largo, Florida went to heaven in Lawrenceville, Georgia on Friday, February 12, 2021. Her journey began on June 11th, 1982 in Amarillo, Texas. Michelle was a beautiful, smart, loving daughter, sister, niece, and aunt. She was kind and welcoming to every person she encountered. She kept those around her laughing. Michelle gave her life to Jesus at age 10 and then had water baptism. Michelle loved listening to music. She was also very creative. She loved sewing, creating beautiful art, and crafting handmade cards. Michelle competed in the “Miss America” pageant, representing New Mexico while in high school. Michelle graduated from Las Cruces High School in New Mexico in May 2000. She then moved to Florida to further her education. She received her Associate's Degree in Fashion Design from International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa, Florida. Michelle previously worked and excelled at Aaron's and went on to become their 1st female Regional Manager in the U.S. Michelle’s life was a blessing, her memory a treasure. She was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. Michelle's parents are Mom, Lisa Jeffrey Moran and Dad, Scott Moran both of Largo, Florida and Father, Michael Zuniga of Hereford, Texas. Family members include brothers living in Florida: Miles Jeffrey, his wife Krista and daughter Madelyn; Mark Jeffrey, his wife Claudia and children Kevin, Michael, Adam, and Dilylah; Matthew Jeffrey and his children Caden and Cameron. Michael Jeffrey, who preceded her in death in 2016, and his surviving son, Mason. Her Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins from New Mexico are: Aunt Jody and Uncle Ken Stolp and their children Abigail, John, Kellen, Grace, Jolena, Kara, and Benjamin; Uncle Curtis and Aunt Gayle Jeffrey and their children Terica, Talya, Will, and Wes; Uncle David Jeffrey and their children Sharon, Davy, Doug, and Loyd; Cousin Amy Jernigan and her children Katherine and Alexander; and Uncle Jim Jernigan. Preceded in death is Aunt Maris Jeffrey, Uncle Kevin Jeffrey, Aunt Ollie Jeffrey, Cousin Brian Jernigan and his surviving children Jeremy and Nyla; Grandpa Loyd Jeffrey and Grandma Ethel Marie Jeffrey. Surviving Grandparents are Amy Amaro of Texas and Arthur Zuniga of Washington State and their children Cindy, Mike, Arthur, Andy, and Alex. The world will be a darker place without her. We will cherish the memories of her beautiful smile, quick wit, love, and loyalty towards her family and others. Michelle’s memorial service will be held by Pastor Randy Morris in the sanctuary on Sunday, February 21st, 2021 at 12:30 pm, at Gulf Coast Church, 13301 Walsingham Road, Largo, Florida 33774; followed by a reception and lunch in the Youth Room at the Family Life Center across from the main church.
