Nancy Mccartney Moffitt

Nancy Lee McCartney Moffitt, 80 years old, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on November 22, 2020. She was born January 20, 1940, in Salisbury, North Carolina, and was the daughter of the late James Robert McCartney Jr. and Lorene Spain McCartney. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lori Luthardt, and her partner, Ron Harris. Nancy studied business at Coker College and Auburn University, and worked as an Executive Secretary and licensed realtor at Selig Enterprises. She enjoyed tennis, bridge, and boating. Nancy is survived by her son, Rob Moffitt, of Atlanta, Georgia, and her granddaughter, Kierstin Luthardt, of Milton, Florida. A memorial service will be planned for the Spring of 2021 at Arlington Cemetery in Atlanta, Georgia. One of Nancy’s favorite quotes was: “Giving and receiving lasting love and devotion with one of God’s loyal and caring people gives life its deepest meaning”.
