Pamela Mary Ryan

Pamela Mary Ryan(nee Lynch), 71, of Adairsville, Ga., died at home on October 17th.

Born in Bangor, Maine, Pam was the only child of Clifford Lynch and Wilma Lynch (nee Cyr). She graduated from Bangor High School and obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Special Education from the University of Maine.


Pam taught Special Education, for which she was once voted teacher of the year, and was active in the Special Olympics. A mother and homemaker, Pam also worked as a counselor, sales representative and book editor.


Pam's love of the outdoors included hiking, canoeing, kayaking, and skiing. Her travels with her husband Lawrence A. (Larry) Ryan to England and Ireland were filled with similar outdoor

adventures.


She lived with her husband, Larry, in Wiscasset, Maine, Nashua, N.H., St.Petersburg, Fla., and, for the last 23yrs, North Georgia. She was a Christian and attended Crosspoint Church in Adairsville,Ga.


Being active in local 12-step groups and food pantries, she received her greatest joy in helping others.


She is survived by her husband Larry Ryan, Adairsville, Ga., sons Sam Ryan (Brandy) of Canton, Ga., Todd Ryan (D’Lynn) of Valrico, Fla. and daughter Teri Ryan (Matt Nixon) of Decatur, Ga.; sisters-in-law Amelia Ryan and Patt Edwards of Glasgow. Ky. and Ali Ryan, The Villages, Fla.; and four grandchildren Jordan, Andrew and Rachel Ryan of Valrico, Fla., Natalie Gray of Richmond, Ky. and Kallie Jo Ryan of Canton,Ga.


A Celebration of Life will be held at Northpointe Church Adairsville, Ga. on November 21st at 4pm. Alternate expressions of sympathy may be sent to your local food pantry.
