Parker Edward Brasfield

Parker Brasfield, 21, passed away in Athens, GA on January 17, 2019. He was born in Marietta, GA and was the son of Shawn and Julia Brasfield and the brother of Jackson Brasfield. He graduated from Walton High School in 2016 and spent a GAP year in South Africa before starting school at Georgia College and State University. He then transferred to the University of Georgia. Parker was a world traveler who went on numerous mission trips with local churches and did study abroad through GCSU. He was a natural athlete who enjoyed baseball, golf, ping pong or just about anything involving a ball and a stick. He loved adventure and was very resourceful with a strong work ethic. He is also survived by two grandmothers, Lynne Chazanof and Marcheta Peacher, and one great-grandmother Beth Jackson. His memorial service is Thursday the 24th in the Johnson Ferry Baptist Church Chapel at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Circuit Riders, a musical ministry to college students.
