Patricia Ann Leone

December 6, 1954 — May 31, 2020

Patricia Ann Leone left her physical body to join her mother in heaven on Sunday May 31st, 2020. She went peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of Rosalea Farley, Peter Sherwin, and Franklin Counts. She was born in a log cabin in Charleston West Virginia on December 6th, 1954. She now watches over her crazy, loud, and fun loving family! Starting with her amazing husband, Anthony Leone; Her 7 children Gladys Santos, Marcos Toledo, Maria Toledo, Ricky Toledo, Krissie Toledo, Tony Leone and Andy Leone; her grandchildren Carey, Mariah, Michael T., Avery, Patricia, Michael A., Charlie, Sophie and Maggie; her great grandchildren Aaron, LaReina, and Millie; Her Sons-in-law Jeremy Talbert and Roberto Santos; her daughter-in-law Leticia Carreno; her “adopted” children Meiya Sheren, Shaun Blum, Becca Spate, Ben Spate, Zach Reed, and Cathryn Reed; her “adopted” grandchildren Little Christopher, Big Christopher, Big Tyler, Ryan, Little Tyler, Abby, Elijah, Samuel, Rachel, and Jack; Her baby sister and brother-in-law Cori and Adam Tyler; Her nieces and nephews Emily, Hallie, Austin, Jake and Kevin; her sister-in-laws Gina, Carla, and Alba; her dearest friends Theresa, Mike, Sylvia, Rick and Kay. Mom was one of a kind! She was larger than life and loved everyone with her entire heart. You never left her house hungry but you might have left it with a hangover (if you were an adult of course)! You never left without a hug, a kiss or an “I love you”. She lead an amazing, wonderful, extraordinary and full life! She went to Woodstock. She was kissed by Elvis. She babysat the Mario Andretti kids. She lived in Hawaii and stole pineapples from a farm before going to school in the mornings after going surfing. She was personally called by First Lady Barbara Bush for her work with children. She received awards from the Mayor of Marietta and The Governor of Georgia for starting a summer reading camp for low income children in the projects. She was a special education teacher that specialized in working with children who were on the autism spectrum. She was the BIGGEST Harry Potter fan that ever walked the earth! Just ask her kids! They’ll tell you! She would leave work early to stand in line at the book store just so she was the first one in line to the midnight release of the books as they came out! She loved Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and was a Shadow Hunter through and through. She loved painting and Bob Ross. See? I wasn’t being sarcastic! She was extraordinary! She was a grade-A badass!!! She was an amazing woman, stellar wife and a wonderful mother. She is going to be greatly missed. She touched the lives of so many people and we were all so lucky and blessed to have her as our own. Per her request there will be no memorial service or funeral held. Per her wishes we will be throwing one hellva party to celebrate her incredible life!! We will notify everyone when this mega bash will take place as we are waiting for current world events to calm down first, for everyone’s safety. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you; donate books to local reading programs and children in your area, blast “Spirit in the Sky” and have a shot of Tequila for her!! We love you Mama!!
