Patricia Kelly

Patricia Kelly, age 72, of Westland, MI, passed away Friday, February 21, 2025, in Athens, GA. Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Francis X. Kelly Sr, and her mother, M. Patricia (Pat) Kelly. Born in 1952 in Danville, PA, Pat grew up in the Detroit suburb of Allen Park. Patricia is survived by her brother Frank (Karen) Kelly of Lincoln, her brother Edward (Rita) of Athens, Georgia and sister, Melody (Rick) Weisman of Pennsylvania and their children and grandchildren. 

She graduated from Allen Park High School in 1970 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Michigan University. She then spent her career in management for Minnesota Fabrics (Later "Hancock Fabrics"), Home Depot, and Sky Chefs. Pat enjoyed traveling back to the "Coal Region" of Pennsylvania, where many relatives resided, and she had a deep interest in her Irish heritage.

Her interests included crafts, and many admirers admired her work with yarn and crochet. Upon retirement, she was a tireless volunteer at Red Cross blood drives. Pat deeply loved all of her relatives and doted extensively on her nieces, nephews, and their children. She will be missed by all who knew her.
