Patricia Klintworth Moe

May 10, 1959 — April 20, 2023

Patricia Ann Klintworth Moe-Mangum, 63, of Hiram, GA passed away on April 20, 2023 at her residence. Patricia lost her life due to complications from a stroke. She fought relentlessly to stay and spend extra time with her family. She gave her family 3 weeks and 3 days to say their goodbyes and I love you’s. She made sure they all knew how much they were loved by her. Her last spoken words were I LOVE YOU!

She was born on May 10, 1959 in Winter Park, FL to the late Mattie Vernell McDuffie and James Fredrick Klintworth.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Matti; step-son, Matt; niece, Shannon; sister, Brenda; father-in-law, Billie; mother-in-law, Edna; brother-in-law, Liberty and niece-in-law, Amanda.

Patricia’s biggest life achievement was caring for her disabled son Jeremy.  She took care of him for almost 42 years.  He was her life and her baby!  She worked in a sewing factory as a seamstress and also served as a writer for the Stitchin’ Post as a staff Reporter. She graduated from Gordon College and got her associates of applied science.  She wrote songs, poetry and doodled cartoon characters as a hobbie. She later became a tax accountant working for family and friends.  Her lifelong hobby was planting flowers and taking care of them. She loved antiques and hummingbirds.  She never went far from home unless it was absolutely necessary because she needed to be in her own bed at night.  She was a loving mother , grandmother, great grandmother and a devoted housewife.  She was an advocate reader and loved books!  When she went blind she spent most of her days curled up on the couch listening to audio books. Reading was the constant joy in her life.  She would say it was like going on a trip to a far away place.

She was an amazing mother and she never judged her children.  She allowed them to live their lives on their own terms without a critical eye.  She loved her 5 o’clock drink, coffee and cigarettes and talks with her sisters.  She was lucky to have found her one true love, Danny.  They made love look effortless and easy.  She had a beautiful life and I know her journey to heaven was even more beautiful.

If love could of saved you you would have lived forever.   You will forever and always be in our hearts and minds.  The love you gave us will live on for as long as we have breath in our bodies.  We miss you momma!  It’s hard to breathe at times just knowing you have left this world.  Fly high!

A few of her favorite funny quotes were: “This sho am good”, “If momma ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy”,  “Fish eye fool” and “Keep sucking on yo sucker sucka”.

Patricia leaves behind her beloved husband, Danny; children, Anthony, April and Jeremy; grandchildren, Brandon, Gwen, Anna, Andri’anna, Kingston, Landon, Princeton and great-grandchild, Nova and another great-grandchild due in August.
