Patricia Lynn Mcpherson

Patricia Lynn McPherson, formerly of Weirton, passed away October 1st, 2020 from a brief illness, surrounded by her family. She was 73 years old. Patti was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on December 18th, 1946, and graduated from Oak Glenn High School before attending West Virginia University. An avid reader with a passion for history, she loved the beach and relished time spent with her children and grandchildren most of all. Family meant everything to Patti. She was proceeded in death by her parents, William and Wanda Moore from Chester, West Virginia and Rockingham, North Carolina. She is survived by sister Pamela Nemith; her children Lesa (Ivan) Williams, Dewey McPherson (Bonnie Palmer), and Amy (David) Starr; grandchildren Chelsea (Josef) Mersh, Tyler (Delaney), Alec, Dewey, Ethan, Isabelle, Abbey, and Megan, and great-grandson Wilder; and niece Stacy (Chad) Bachman and nephew Joe Nemith (Brianna). There will be no funeral service. A celebration of her life will be held in Buford, Georgia for family and close friends, and a final memorial service will take place at a future date in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina.
