Phyllis West Nelson

Ms. Phyllis West Nelson, age 74, of Adairsville passed away on this day, Saturday April 24, 2021. Ms. Nelson was born in Rome, GA on March 26, 1947. She was the daughter of the late Vernon West and Cora West Beetle. She was a member of Snow Springs Methodist Church. Ms. Nelson was a beautician and owner of Phil’s Beauty Boutique of Adairsville. Survivors include her children, Ernest Jay (Sandra) Cantrell, Melanie (Don) Cantrell Smith and Chris (Trish) McEntyre, all of Adairsville; brothers, Richard West and Brian West, both of Adairsville; grandchildren, Oshia Smith, Tiffany (Lee) Johnson, Melissa (Timothy) Grimes, April (Justin) Cantrell Goggans, Jayson Cantrell and Alaina Fritz Barnette; great grandchildren, Peyton Dorn, Caitlin Barnette, Matthew Grimes and Emma Grimes; nephews, Rodney West, Tristan West and Justin West. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 2 PM at East View Cemetery in Adairsville, GA.
