Ricky Eugene Newbury

Ricky Eugene Newbury, 65 of Acworth, Ga went to heaven on Sunday January 7, 2024.

He was born on July 29, 1958, in Marietta, Ga and was the son of late Henry and Eleanor Newbury

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Newbury, his mother Eleanor Newbury. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Kristy Newbury and his son, Daniel Newbury.

He was an avid machinist who dedicated many of his years to Lockheed Martin. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. Music was his passion. He was also a diehard race fan.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a dedicated husband and loving father. He had the best sense of humor. He was a loyal and trustworthy friend.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Newbury, his daughter, Julie Newbury, his son, Anthony “Tony” Newbury, his brother Ed Newbury, his sister-in-law Angie Newbury, his nephews, Kenny and Chris Newbury, and all other family members and beloved friends.

We will have a celebration of life on February 3, 2024, at Wildlife Action at 1 pm
