Robert Harold Howard

Robert “Bob” Harold Howard, 86, of Atlanta, Georgia passed away, Thursday, December 12, 2024 in his home where he was cared for by his family. 

Mr. Howard was born in Grangerburg, Alabama on August 20, 1938 and was the son of the late Kyle and Eunice Howard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sheryl Howard. 

He is a graduate from the University of Alabama. He was a Navy Veteran, and retired sales person. 

Surviving is his wife of 58 years, Ann Howard; his daughters Brooke Ludwig (Ken) of Windsor North Carolina and Brianna Howard of Athens Georgia; brother Charles Howard (Julia) of DothanAlabama; five grandchildren Amanda Miller (Joshua), Marissa Holloman, Lindsee Cowand (Clay), Isaiah Holloman, and Jermaine Laguin; three great grand-children Emma, Tierney, and Sadie; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. 

The family offers a special thank you to Accent Care Hospice. 

Upon his request, there is no service as the family gathered at the family home to celebrate his life. 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University in support of Genitourinary (GU) cancer research.
