Rose Colley

Our dearly beloved mother Rose Colley, age 81, was called peacefully into heaven on May 21, 2020. She is survived by her dedicated children which includes two daughters and five sons: Richetta Vincent Black, Miriam (Vernon), Leonard, Tyrone (Joann), Dwight, Henry (Ieda), and Kevin Vincent. She is also survived by grandchildren (Laetitia, Laetoya, Kinesha, Jovan, Tammy, Crystal, Daniel, Aleira, Hiram, Imani, Christopher, and Tremain), great grandchildren, a great-great grandchild, Aunt Frances Colley, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a beloved community of adoring friends. She was preceded in death by Mary Colley Jones affectionately known as "Madear", Miriam Jones affectionately known as "Mother" and Mary Ellen Colley affectionately known as "Malen" as well as sons Keith and Carl Vincent. Rose Colley had a major impact on society in the medical field. She is documented to have saved countless lives in her dedicated service and commitment to humanity. She earned an RN Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and received progressive promotions and accolades throughout her career. The sun shines down upon us a little less brightly in the sky, but heaven rejoices because an angel has returned. All who encountered Rose Colley experienced the positive light that emanated from her majestic spirit. She has moved on from this Earth but will never ever be forgotten. The essence of Rose Colley lives on as she imparted a legacy of strength, resilience, love, and tenacity that exists inside her children as well as her children's children. She will be deeply missed but we will see her again in Heaven.
