Sally Garner Rice

Sally Garner Rice, 74, of Acworth, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020. Sally was born on August 28, 1946, in Manchester, New Hampshire. She was the daughter of the late William and Waunita Garner. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Rice and her brother Mike Garner. Sally was an avid reader and enjoyed her time spent at the Cobb Senior Center in Acworth, GA., where she was the Secretary for many years. Sally was a loving sister, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed by the many people who knew her. She is survived by her son Chuck Fritts (Teresa), step-daughter Carrie Rice Davis (Mike), step-sons Brad Rice and Jake Rice; siblings John Garner (Linda), Steve Garner (Kelly), Kelly Ulrich (Clayton), and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. An intimate memorial service will be held Friday, February 26, 2021 at 1 PM at Leaf Cremation in Acworth, GA. The family asks in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Lung Association (www.lung.org).
