On April 14, 2022, Sarah Samantha Chapman left us to join her Paternal Grandparents; Jeanette and A.D Chapman; Maternal Grandfather Dick Myers; maternal Grandfather J.W. Hatfield in heaven. On July 16, 1986, Sam was born and grew up in Decatur, GA. She was a proud and fun-loving Mother to her daughter McKenzie. Sam is survived by her proud parents Cathy Chapman and Eddie Chapman and Stepmother Durenda Chapman. Her younger brother Matt Chapman who she enjoyed a loving big sister little brother relationship as they grew up together and stayed close into adulthood. She is also survived by her Maternal Grandmother Betty Myers; they shared a very special bond during Sam's life. She was a wonderful granddaughter, niece, cousin, and adored as a Godmother. To know Sam is to love Sam! She would help anyone in need; without a second thought or judgment. Her energy was contagious, and her laugh will never be forgotten. She had an authentic heart and style like no one else. Sam will always be cherished by those who loved her unconditionally. Her friends are honored to be in her life and will continue to embrace their everlasting friendship. The family would like to thank Sam's best friend Jamie Augenbaugh for her support during this difficult time. Jamie and Sam met in college and their relationship was one of love, honesty, respect, and many antics. They shared an unbreakable bond that will live on with her daughter.
