Seals Edward Smith

Seals Edward Smith, age 80, of Canton, GA went to be with our Lord on October 11, 2020.  He was born on June 24,1940 in Cedartown, GA and was the son of the late Walter and Maggie Smith.  He is also preceded in death by his daughter, Veronica Ann Putnam. He was a member of Grace Brethren Church of Marietta, GA for many years and was well known and highly respected in the construction industry in his local community.    He is survived by his wife Jan Smith of almost 60 years.  His children, Vera (Doug) Peffer of Canton, GA, Vince (Robyn) Smith of Dallas, GA, Vicky Crittenden (Charlie Andrews) of Canton, GA., 10 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren, a brother, James (Dolly) Smith of Lithia Springs, GA, a sister Florence Eller and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service celebrating Seals Smith's Life will be Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Poole Funeral Home in Woodstock, GA.  The family will receive friends/family at 10:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Home Hospice of Georgia or Alzheimer's Association.
