Sheila Margaret (Noon) Klein of Marietta, GA passed peacefully in the presence of her stepdaughter Stephanie (Klein) Ward on September 29th, 2023. Born in Ogdensburg, NY to parents James Patrick Noon and Margaret (Mulligan) Noon on March 14, 1943. Their father passed away at an early age. Sheila and her siblings, sisters Mary Ann and Kathy and brother Jim, were raised by their mother, after Margaret raised Sheila and her siblings on a school-teacher's salary and taught her children the value of education, ambition, and faith.
A graduate of Sherburne Central High School, in Sherburne, N.Y. She was awarded a B.S. in Nursing from D’Youville College in Buffalo, N.Y.
In 1987 she married Philip Stanley Klein and began attending Temple Beth Hallel in Roswell, GA.
Sheila was a godly woman who devoted her life to her family, faith and friends. She was the consummate hostess and enjoyed holding many Thanksgiving and Easter and Passover dinners at her home.
She is preceded in death by Philip Stanley Klein, her husband of 28 years and her siblings Jim Noon, Mary Ann Haw and Kathy Hinton. She is survived by son David Barry Jenkins, daughter Colleen Patrick Jenkins and Stephanie Beth (Klein) Ward (Carson Ward) and her three grandchildren, Madison Ward, Ellie Ward and Brooklyn Ward.
There will be a memorial service at the Johnson’s Ferry Baptist Church, in Marietta, GA December 7th at 11am. Reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, you may contribute to The Parkinson’s Foundation.
