Sonya "Sunny" Schneider

Sonya (Sunny) M. Schneider, 56, of Cartersville, GA died on 10-18-20 peacefully in her home after battling brain cancer. She was born in Brewton, AL on Sept. 13, 1964 to Jack Jackson and Brenda Boozer Jackson. She worked as a specialist at The Home Depot in Kennesaw, GA. Sunny was married to Wayne, her husband of 37 years. Her love and joy of family along with love and talent of cooking, decorating, and Christmas time will truly be missed. Sunny was proceeded in death by Alexandria, Ashley, and both sets of grandparents. She is survived by her husband Wayne, son Andrew (Kristin) Schneider, daughter Alexis (Skyler) Dennis, parents Jack (Norma) Jackson, and Brenda Jackson, sisters Cindy (Rodney) Huckeby, Yvette Jackson, and brother Sean (Lori) Jackson, and mother-in-law Myra Schneider. A memorial celebration of life will be scheduled later. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sunny’s name can be made to your local humane society. The family would like to personally thank the staff at The Hope Center in Cartersville, the KP health clinic in Kennesaw, Emory-St. Joseph Hospital, Atlanta, and The Bristol Hospice of Georgia for all the care and support given to Sunny.
