Stacy Vernette Jones

Stacy Vernette Jones, 58, passed away on April 15, 2021. She was born on July 16, 1962 in Bronx, New York and was the daughter of Katie Blanche Kearney (Bennie Howard Jones) & Frank Francois, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her mother Katie Blanche Francois and father Benny Howard Jones. Stacy was a devout and faithful Jehovah’s Witness. She had a light she exuded turning a stranger to a friend wherever she went whether it was at the store or during her hospital visits. She loved nature walks, gardening, needlepoint, music, dancing (she even won a trophy or two in her day), rollerskating, bowling, making others laugh, but most of all her family and her grandson and pride and joy, Gregory. She will be greatly missed and was a loving Mother, Grandmother “Nana”, Wife, Daughter, Sister and Aunt. Stacy leaves behind her only child Danielle Foreman (Gregory), grandchildren Gregory C. Foreman III & Semaya Foreman, father Frank Francois, Sr., brothers and sisters Frankie Francois, Jr., Janine White (Paul), Patrick Francois (Cicily) and Monique Wannamaker (Shandy) along with four nephews and three nieces and a host of physical and spiritual family members. Cremation Services through Leaf Cremation will be on Monday, April 19 followed by a virtual Memorial Services on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
