Steve Israel Ryals

Steve Israel Ryals went home to be with the Lord on September 15, 2022, at the age of 79 in Atlanta, GA at Emory St. Joseph Hospital. He was born on September 1, 1943, in Riceboro, GA. Steve was the son of the late Stephen O. Ryals and Mary Mader Ryals. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Lawrence, JD. Chester, Marion, James, and Margaret.

Steve was a devoted husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Carroll Martin Ryals, who he dearly loved for 47 years, his daughter, Steva Ryals Santana, her husband, Santiago Santana and his grandchildren; Brandon, Noah, Ava, and Mya Santana, and his sister-in-law, Cynthia Martin Parks, and many nieces and nephews. He is also leaving behind his little Shih Tzu, Gabbi, that he adored, as she did her “Daddy”.

A celebration of life will be held at the Lee Methodist Church in Lee, Florida. A casual visitation with friends and family will be held before.  A fellowship luncheon will follow the service. All are invited. The date will be announced soon.
