Susan Ann Bowden

Susan Ann Bowden, 61, of Marietta GA, Acworth GA, Heflin AL, Smyrna GA, and finally Rockmart GA was born on March 13, 1957 and passed away peacefully into the arms of her Savior on October 1, 2018. She was surrounded by many loved ones holding her hands or talking to her on speaker phone. She is survived by her two sons Andrew Guyton of Gainesville GA, and Dustin Smith of East Bangor ME. She is also survived by her mother Barbara Jarvis of Acworth GA, sister Jean Burks of Woodstock GA, John Jarvis Jr of Rockmart GA, and Patrick (Kim) Jarvis of Acworth GA, many nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her Dad, John Jarvis Sr. Susan was known for her enormous heart for others. Her son, Dustin, said she never met a stranger, they were just a friend she had not met yet. She was a hard worker. Anyone who knew Susan, knew that they could count on her to keep a very clean house! She loved to be outdoors. She saw the beauty in nature, even the rocks. She was addict of collecting rocks. She would come in from a walk with a rock and cherish it as a nugget of gold. Susan was also the life of the party. Susan loved people! If Susan considered you family or a friend, she would fight anything or anybody to protect you. She was a light to many and will be deeply missed. Service and Celebration for Susan will be Sunday October 14th at Victoona Civic Club Clubhouse at 103 Myrtle Rd, Woodstock GA 30189 from 3:00-5:00PM.
