Susan Pamela Epps, 66, of Marietta, Ga, passed away on September 22, 2023, in Marietta. She was born on December 12, 1956, in Marietta to Herbert and Rachel Chumley. Susan was preceded in death by her father, mother, step-father, Glenn McCampbell; sister, Brenda West and daughter Ashley Barksdale.


Susan is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Tim Epps; her daughters, Michelle Haustein (Dave Haustein) and Margie Acuff (Bill Acuff); her son-in-law, Cobb Barksdale and her brother, Ken Chumley (Shelley Carroll). She was also cherished by her 3 grandchildren, Gavin Barksdale, Ava Barksdale, and Charlie Haustein.


Susan will be remembered for her unwavering support and dedication to her family. She found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren and was always there to offer guidance and love. Susan was an avid UGA football fan, always cheering on her Dawgs with passion and enthusiasm.


A Memorial Service to honor Susan's life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, October 7th at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Acworth. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. Your support will help in the ongoing fight against cancer and honor Susan's memory.
