On Monday, July 19, 2021, Tammy Paulette McEntyre, loving wife and mother, passed away at the age of 61. Tammy was born on October 23, 1959, in Atlanta, GA to Paul Harley Turner and Betty Jean Turner (Carlisle). She received her LPN license from Chattahoochee Technical College in Acworth, GA in 2008. On May 4, 2002, she married David Lee McEntyre. They have two loving children, Amanda Jean Wilson, and Adam Lee McEntyre. Tammy had a passion for deer hunting and spending time with her Grandchildren. She also loved to bird-watch, bowl, cook, and work. Her love for others was much admired not only by friends and family, but also by her co-workers, the homeless, and many more. She was known for taking care of others. She never turned anyone away, if you were sick she wanted to care for you. She enjoyed taking clothes and food to the needy. She always was there to lend a helping hand. Tammy was preceded in death by her son, Jason Scott Hillhouse, Father Paul Harley Turner, Grandmothers Thelma Estell Kell, and Eliza Azlee Turner, Grandfathers James Elbert Wheeler, and Lawrence Everett Turner. Survived by her husband David Lee McEntyre, her Mother, Betty Jean Carlisle, her two children, Amanda Jean Wilson spouse Freddie Lee Mitchell IV, Adam Lee McEntyre spouse Jacilyn Briana McEntyre, Grandchildren, Mayleigh Grace Wade, Anna Grace McEntyre, and Nicole Janelle Buttacavoli, Brother Paul Harley Turner Jr. and Sister, Tonya Turner Collum, several nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly. A Celebration Of Life will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 2 pm 435 West Main Street Cartersville, GA 30120 (The Old Civic Center)
