Ted Dale Luker, Jr

Ted Luker Jr (Tommy Skrodelis), 41, of Charlottsville, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on April 10, 2023, in Marietta, Georgia. Ted was born to Catherine Luker and Walter Skrodelis on August 2, 1981. He is survived by his mother Catherine, adopted father Ted Luker Sr., brother Timothy Skrodelis, sister Janine Luker, best friend Shandra Jenkins and other relatives. Ted is preceded in death by his father Walter Skrodelis.

Ted honorably served in the U.S. Air Force as a Network Integration Journeyman with a rank of SRA/E4 from November 25, 2003, to November 24, 2007. He was a recipient of the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. After leaving the Air Force, Ted continued to serve his country by becoming a military contractor with ITT from 2007-2010.

Ted was enthusiastic about learning. He interacted well with children, and they loved learning from him, He was also an avid gamer who was well loved by his friends in the gaming community, many of whom he provided encouragement to during their own real-life problems.

Memorial services will be held at 9:00 a.m., Thursday April 27, 2023, at Georgia National Cemetery. Leaf Crematorium is making arrangements. Please join us by arriving at the public information center by 8:30 a.m.
