Thomas Hunter leaves behind to cherish his Memories His Daughter: Lesa Hunter Grandsons: Ronald, Anthony, John, and Jarod Grand Daughters: lymia, Ikimia and Jania 17- Great Grands 4- Great Great Grands I-Brother -Pierson Hunter I-Sister-Rebecca Graham 2-Sister in Laws: Gladys Hunter and Dorothy Winn And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends Mr. Thomas Hunter was born on May 29th, 1934, to the late Pierson and Lela Bell Hunter in Mullens, West VA. He transitioned from life on May 15, 2022, at Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayette, GA. Thomas loved singing and going to their church, Mount Calvary Baptist in Princeton, West VA. He enjoyed church with his mother and father along with his 8 Brothers; Malowa, James, Charles, Chester, Loran, Alex, Christopher, and Pierson and with his 3 sisters; Molasse, Virginia and Rebecca. Thomas worked at Triboro hospital in Jamaica, NY for 35 years, he retired in 1992. He and his wife Bernice moved to Atlanta, GA, where he came out of retirement and began working at the Greenbrier Mall for another 5 years. Afterwards he finally retired and enjoyed listening to his gospel music. He loved listening to Sam Cooke and the Soul Sisters and the 5 Blind Boys of Alabama. Every Sunday morning, he would get up and make a cup of Tea, while his favorite gospel music would play. Thomas loved his children, there were 5 in total: Lesa Darlene Hunter, New York is his only living child. Sandra, Bernadette, Kevin, and Kenneth, all Preceded him in death, along with his wife Bernice. Thomas was a true family man; he loved his life and he enjoyed it to the fullest. He will truly be missed and forever loved by many!
