Wade Allen Pittman

January 13, 1959 — April 1, 2025

Rydal, GA

Wade Allen Pittman, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025, at his home in Rydal, GA, at the age of 66.

Wade was born on January 13, 1959, in St. Pete, Florida, and spent his life loving and caring for the people around him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Bonita Pittman, who was the love and light of his life; his cherished mother, Ovida Potter; his children Penny (Mark) DiLeonardo, Stephanie (Jeff) Pannell, Jessica (Tony) Lynch, Nicholas Lentz, and Daulton (Emily) Pittman; his siblings Johnny Earl (Bobbie) Davis, Elaine Pittman, Paula (Frank) Snyder, and Keith Pittman; and his treasured grandchildren William, Peyton, Elizabeth, Bella, Bree, Taylor, Piper and Parker.

Wade dedicated 24 years of hard work and service to Publix, where he was known not only for his reliability and integrity but also his kindness and willingness to lend a hand. Wade ventured into owning his own Archery shop in Cartersville, where he got to spend 12 years doing a job he loved!
Outside of work, Wade found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, and fire up the grill on weekends. His faithful pup, Rocky, was always by his side, and those lucky enough to know Wade knew he gave the absolute best hugs- comforting, strong, and full of love.

Family was at the heart of everything Wade did. He was the kind of father who taught by example- how to love deeply, work hard, and always take care of one another.

Wade’s legacy is one of unwavering love, quiet strength, and heartfelt generosity. His presence was a gift, and his absence leaves a hole in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

The family will have a Celebration of Life for Wade on June 7, 2025, in Hernando, FL (information to follow)
