William C. Laux, of Acworth, Georgia, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2022. Bill was born in Sheboygan, WI on December 20, 1959 to Ralph and Lois (Swinehart) Laux. He grew up on the family farm in Batavia, WI and was a 1978 graduate of Random Lake High School.
Bill moved to Kennesaw, GA in 1983 and raised his family there. He was a home builder and remodeler and established his business, New Horizons Remodeling, which he operated for over 30 years. He also had an interest in classic cars and restored many over the years. He also made appearances in Robo Cop 3 and Freejack.
He is survived by his wife, Lynne Laux; his children Kevin (Heather) Laux and Cheryl (Daniel) Ketter; four grandchildren, Mason and Dylan Laux, Chase and Elodie Ketter; a brother Jerry Laux (Carol Schneider) of Tomahawk, WI; a sister Beth Archer of Adell, WI; nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Lois Laux of Batavia, WI and brother-in-law Jim Archer of Adell, WI.
A private celebration of life will be held for immediate family.
