After high school, Zane served his country in the United States Army. He was stationed in Germany, where he met his first wife. Upon returning to the United States, he worked in sales, which allowed him to travel the Country, meeting his second wife in Atlanta, Georgia. Zane and his second wife, Dianne, lived in many states and in Germany. He finally settled and lived the last 40 years of his life in Metro Atlanta.
Zane was a larger than life, charming, stubborn, funny, loud man who could cook better than most and always left a lasting impression on everyone who met him. He instilled a strong work ethic in his children, giving them strength to handle just about anything. He was a nomad, moving his family all over the world, giving his children experiences of a lifetime.
The family mourns, not for him, but for those of us left behind. We will cherish the lifetime of memories he stored up and we will be re-united with him in Glory. He is now whole in the presence of our Heavenly Father.
A celebration of life service will be held in Zane’s hometown of Brownwood, Texas on November 11, 2023.
