Zenick Alburn Mills

Zenick Alburn Mills, age 75, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024 at his residence. He was born September 25, 1948 in Bartow County Georgia, youngest of seven children born to Jack “Harold” and Mollie Hardin Mills.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters Margaret Davis, Mildred Mathison, Linda Holbert, and Eleanor Sullivan, one brother Zedick Mills, two nephews Chris Holbert, and Vance Sullivan, one niece Shelia Jones and one grandnephew Zegan Mills.

Zenick became skilled in the art of upholstery working alongside his dad, who owned and operated the “Mills Upholstery Shop”. After his dad’s death in 1982, he continued to operate the shop until he became disable.

He is survived by his two sons Wade Mills and Nick Mills and the mother of his sons Joan Patterson Thomas, one sister Opal Mills Powers, nieces Connie (Glen) VanHouten, Daphne (Jon) Lewallen, Vickie Autry, Rita Patton, Trisha (Calvin) Silvers, nephews Blake (Laura) Holbert, Terry (Phyllis) Tidwell, and Eddie (Shelia) Mills, and a number of grandnieces and grandnephews.

To honor his wishes, his body was cremated and no public services will be held.
